THE GREAT RELAY KL (TGRKL) , 28th MAY

hey there people !

wanna know an awesome news ?

it was a shiny saturday morning and 4 members from KSL UPNM is ready to rock in " THE GREAT RELAY KL" event.

the event was held at taman Metropolitan Kuala Lumpur.

they participated in the 100km category, 4 runners.

the event was also participated by Kiara running Club (mkrc) and We're running club from Petronas.

the flag off should be at 0630 in the morning. however, the four of the aces are still searching for the starting line in the Taman Metropolitan. As they arrived there, they took their beep and started their running eventhough they were 8 minutes late after the flag off and left behind. they knew the fact indeed. But, they never gave up. they kept on trying. They believed that worry ends when faith begins. so they continued their run, carrying faith.

with great team work and determination, they managed to finish the 100km race with a record of 

7 hours 3 minutes

nominating them as the second placing.

and indeed we should never give up, right ?

the key is to keep moving forward and never look back.

with the pros,

always be a trior.

KERIAN INTERNATIONAL DUATHLON 2016, 22nd MAY

hey followers, here we are again for an update about our club !

as much as 26 athletes from KSL UPNM has participated in this international Event, held at Bagan Serai, Perak.

this event is participated by more than 3000 highly spirited participants from all over the globe including participants from the Sukan Lasak Navy team, Sukan Lasak ATM team and other european teams as well. Not to mention Malaysian professional athletes participating the event, who has been our competitors for years, such as,  Jason Loh, Allie Helmy, Zuha and Shahrom Abdullah. 

the discipline of this event is 5km run continued by 40km bike and another 10km run as final touchdown.

Apart from quite a number of competitors in the event, KSL UPNM was never left behind.

SHAH ALAM ENDURIDE INTERNATIONAL 2016 -15 MEI 2016

Shah Alam Enduride is an International event held at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam.

The event is a 130km long ride.

Participated by 3000 particiants from Malaysia and other countries, the members of Kelab Sukan Lasak and Medicadence Team, with the colaboration of Akademi Latihan Ketenteraan (ALK) And Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) had not miss to join this big event.

15 members from both clubs has joined this event in the Men Open Enduride Category. 

This is actually the first time Kelab Sukan Lasak and Medicadence Team collaborate in joining event.

They made a really great team.

Apart from all the 3000 participants, UPNM managed to be in the top 10 in Men Open Enduride category,

with a record of 3hrs 19minutes

give him a round of applause.

In the end, it is always proven that people with hardwork and great attitude wins the race.

Muar International Twin Bridge Half Marathon 2016

Muar International Twin Bridge Half Marathon 2016 was held at Dataran Tanjung Emas, Johor. 

its flag off is as early as 0640H on 14th May 2016.

this event consist of 4 different categories,

International 19 & above

Malaysian open 19 & above

Malaysian veteran 40 & above

School students 13-18

300 Malaysians participated in this big event and 4 of them are from Kelab Sukan Lasak.

they did their very best, and the result is as follows.

 amsyarul amin,  19th placing , (1:36:40)

 izzat, 20th placing , (1:37:47)

Fathin, (2:48:23)

they might have come last, but at least they have tried their very best. and that is the true hero.

Deuter International Trail Run 2016 , 8th May

hey readers, are you here for the latest update ?

UPNM endurance sports club members had participated in the Deuter International Trail Run 2016 which was held at batu arang, Selangor. 

15 members participated and the result was the bomb. 

it was a 14K trail run and they managed to finish it with flying colours.

the club's members managed to conquer the podium from the 2nd placing to the 8th placing.

it was indeed an awesome game and this highlighted that our athletes are the best, among the best.

and the result is as follows;

4th place : PKDT FAIRUL ROSLAN (LEKIR)

it is always limited beyond our imagination.

it was an awesome game indeed. we're seeking for another game to conquer !

RHB Shimano Highway Ride @Lekas 2016

RHB Shimano Highway Ride @Lekas 2016 is Malaysia's first closed highway night cycling event. And the good part is, 4 awesome members of KSL UPNM had participated in this challenging event solely by themselves, without any sponsors nor supporters coming. Their passion in cycling and high teamwork encouraged them to join this event at any cost. These 4 high spirited athletes , which is, Muhammad Syafiq Bin Rusli, Ahmad Hanif Bin Nazri, Khairul Hazwan and Muhammad Firdaus Bin Hasnan, participated in this event purposely to test their level of power, to meet with the pros from the Terengganu Pro Asia Cycling Team(TSG) and most importantly, to gain experience. And the good part is, their dream came true when they got the chance to take a photo with some members from the TSG ! their result is as follows;

" Event semalam power, not like training in UPNM but riding freely"

" nasihat abang kalau nak berjaya bukan senang nak jadi ke senang. kalau kita atlet kita harus berdisiplin. Kita harus bersungguh sungguh membuat sesuatu kerja dan kita harus target apa yang kita mahu, inshaaAllah, rezeki Allah yang akan bagi. apa yang penting kita harus usaha dan tawakkal."
